If you are Coptic, Armenian, Syriac, Ethiopian or Malankara, you are used to being left out of this entirely. Christian apps are built for Western Protestants first, Catholics occasionally, Eastern Orthodox rarely, and for the non-Chalcedonian churches essentially never — as though fifty million Christians with the oldest continuous liturgies in the world were a rounding error.
Devout asks which tradition you stand in before it gives you anything, and Oriental Orthodox is one of the answers.
Your Fathers, not somebody else's
The theology here descends from Cyril of Alexandria, and the reflection is written knowing that — that Christ is one incarnate nature of God the Word, and that Chalcedon is a fault line rather than a footnote. Athanasius, Cyril, Severus of Antioch, Ephrem the Syrian, Anthony the Great and Shenoute are all held in the Library, with their lives and their words, because they are your tradition's own and not general Christian furniture.
The calendar follows the Oriental reckoning and the readings follow it too.

Being honest about the limits
Devout is written in English, and the depth here is not yet equal to what it holds for the larger Western traditions. Your churches have vast liturgical and hymnographic riches — the Ethiopian and Armenian traditions especially — and only a fraction of that is here.
What is here is genuinely yours rather than borrowed: your Fathers, your Christology, your calendar. If something is wrong or missing, we would rather be told than guess, and there is a good chance the person who wrote this did not know.
