The Sunday readings of the Roman Catholic Mass move on a three-year cycle — Year A, Year B, Year C. Each Sunday has four readings: a passage from the Old Testament (or from Acts in Eastertide), a responsorial psalm, an epistle, and a gospel. The Sunday lectionary was renewed after the Second Vatican Council so that, over three years, the people would hear the bulk of the New Testament and a generous selection of the Old.

Browsing Year B — the year of Mark — together with the readings for the major feasts and solemnities of the Church's year. (186 sets of readings in all.) We are presently in Year A.
